Dr. Sureda’s areas of interest are clinical research in multiple myeloma, lymphomas and transplantation of haematopoietic progenitor (THP) cells.  She developed her scientific activity especially in the field of Lymphomas, mainly in Hodgkin's Lymphoma and research related to the TPH cells.  She is an active member of the Spanish Group of Lymphomas / Transplantation of the Bone Marrow (GELTAMO in Spanish) practically since its inception, being author and co-author of numerous scientific publications related to the topic and she is responsible for the subcommittee of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma since its beginning.  At the international level, she is President of the European Bone Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) since march 2021, and since 2004 she's in charge of the Lymphoma Working Party (LWP) of the same organization (EBMT). Her numerous works and peer-reviewed publications reflect her extensive research on lymphomas, on refractory or relapsed cases and high-dose chemotherapy treatments.  She is currently a member of the Lymphoma Working Committee of the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR). Her active involvement in the organization allows her to continue clinical research on TPH cells to treat haematological pathologies.
